Hey everyone!
On Monday my fiance' purchased a 2008, white Edge SEL, w/black leather. What a cool car! She had been leasing a 2005 black Acura MDX. I washed both of them yesterday since we just had a snow storm, and we were going to turn in the MDX. Having a white car is gonna really be nice! I really didn't notice just how dirty the Edge was till I was washing it and then could actually see the dirt coming off. I defiantly recommend the new White, or "Sand" as it is being called. I had the front 2 windows tinted to match and WOW what a difference that has made. It is really turning some heads.
Now my question. I want to hook up XM Satellite radio to my factory "SAT capable" radio. The dealer said that they could do it with a module and wiring harness for around $450! I don't want an add on device that would mount to the dash and therefore would not be able to control via the steering wheel controls. And I also want the most direct connection for the best sound, NOT through the FM receiver.
Do you think that this could be done for less at a Best Buy or Circuit City without them messing up my SYNC? Has anyone dealt with this issue?
I'm really excited about the SYNC capabilities, and the phone reception is stunning on both ends of the conversation. I'd really appreciate your suggestions.
