So i have a problem that seems to be identical but want confirmation before i change out fans. Mkx 2007 has been over heating but not all the time. Runs ok for a few days with no coolant leaks and sometimes blowing hot air out of ac when idle position but cold when we get moving. Today it overheated and put key in on position to see if fans where kicking on while truck over the recommended temp and did not see fans come on. Am i suppose to see fans on when vehicle ignition is just in on position and over heated? Also, i started noticing one of the fans staying on after car was shut off when i have never heard the fans stay on before. Please advice if fans are truly the issue or should i also do thermostat?
