Chris Hall, I know this is regarding a post that you had a long time ago, but I'm wondering if you solved the problem. I just bought a 2007 Edge and LOVE it, but it is having the SAME exact problems that you have with yours. I couldn't explain it better myself than how you explained it. I have a powertrain warranty that expires in a couple weeks and I want to get this figured out before then. Thanks in advance!
