Hi, I have Ford Edge 2009 SEL. Yesterday my rear window of the door on the left side was not closing. I can hear the some sound but the glass is not coming up. Please advice.

How can I replace head unit? Also should I remove negative terminal of battery and reset and then check. Will this work? Also to avoid battery loss can I remove CD player from the car until I fix it. Please advice.

Hi, I am facing problem in CD player. Whenever I open the door of the car I can hear that the player is shuffling. There is no CD in the player and the screen shows 6 little circles. Then sometimes after about 10 seconds it says CD ERROR and then player shuts off. Please advice. Thanks

Hi, I have Ford Edge AWD 2009 model. Since last week I noticed that at times the brake pedal has become hard to press and sometimes it is normal like go down in the normal way and I am able to put emergency brakes but when it is hard it is difficult for me to put emergency brakes and car stops on its own and does not completely stops even when I press the pedal completely. Please advice what may be the problem in your opinion.

Hi, When I try to eject CD in my ford edge 2009 SEL, it says eject error and the CDs are stuck inside. CD is playable but it is stuck inside. Please advise. Thanks

Ya I filled with the correct type. Please advice me what is the correct procedure for checking the level. I am checking the level with the engine off and since the oil is very thin so i am facing difficulties in checking level but the mechanic confirmed the level is correct.

Hi, I have ford edge 2009 SEL (automatic transmission) . I noticed since yesterday that the shifting is delayed till the speed reached 100 km/h. Rmp reaches till 3 and then the gear shifts and before that engine makes noise since the gear is not automaticallly changed. Last week I replaced transmission fluid also. Please advice. Thanks

Hi, I changed transmission fluid yesterday. Mileage is 100,000 kms. Went to a mechanic and he drained all by opening a screw from bottom. Don't know how much capacity came out and then he put 6 litres of transmission oil. Want to know is this a correct method as some people say u have to do 3 times this procedure. Also 6 litres enough as on the dipstick I cannot see any levels as oil very thin. Please advise. Thanks

You mentioned that I have to add 1.3 quatrz of concentrated coolant but I believe that new mixture which I put was 90 % coolant and 10% water with the assumed mixture of 50:50 (which is 20% of total capacity). If convenient please clarify this.

Hi, I am living in UAE and I have ford edge SEL 2009. Last week I had coolant change from a non-dealer. He lifted the car and flushed the coolant by opening one screw of the radiator. After all the coolant is drained he fixed the screw, unlifted the car and put concentrated coolant directly into the plastic tank next to wiper tank. After the entire gallon was emptied (3.78 litres), the plastic tank has stil some capacity left to be filled to the colder range and then he added water. I noticed on the coolant gallon saying that it is concentrated and should be diluted 50/50 but in my case the same was not done. Please advice remedy. Thanks Noman nomanaaziz@hotmail.com
