I had just finished replacing the alternator, big pain in the butt by the way, and discovered a bad battery terminal. I was in no mood to start removing the obstacles required to replace whole cables so I used a Dorman 926-882 battery terminal and modified it a bit by removing one terminal. I then flattened and trimmed the OEM cable ends. This was around 15K miles ago and I haven’t had any problems. I hope this helps.
