Thank you. I found the issue on Explorer forums but didn't see much on the Edges. Looks like they use the same part so I'll swap out the switch. Looks pretty straight forward.

It seems the wipers on our 2011 Edge SEL (no auto wipers) are stuck on the slowest intermittent setting. They otherwise work fine but will not completely shut off. Anyone else run into this? I'm thinking I should replace the switch but figured I'd check in here for any insights. Thanks!

I'm not sure exactly but I believe it's just a slightly differnt socket. The 9012s fit perfect though. It is a tight fit and you're working blind so just be patient and they'll go in. High beams work great with these. The edge uses a "flap" inside the headlight housing that moves up and down to block the top edge of the beam for low beam or high beam.

I installed the 9012 kit from TRS yesterday in our 2011 Edge. It is amazing. The stock halogen headlights on the Edge are really pretty bad. The HID kit is a night and day difference. My wife drives 60 miles a day for work and I feel much better about her safety especially this time of year when it's dark at 4pm. I went with the 5000k bulbs and the 55w ballasts with their HD relay. The 2012 bulbs fit in the sockets perfectly with no modifications. When they are installed the return wire is at 6 o'clock like they should be. Overall very impressed so far.

I called my shop this morning and they are going to check with the owner who does most of the computer stuff. I'll let you know what I find out.

I have a 2011 Edge bought used. It only came with one key. I understand that to program a new key you need two existing keys. If I order two new keys on eBay do I need to take them to a dealer or can my regular independent mechanic do the programming?

No antenna on the glass. I'm still not convinced the car has remote start. It isn't listed on the build sheet but I suppose it could have even added after. There must be a module I can look for some where?

I do have the hood switch.

We just bought a used 2011 Edge SEL and in the menus on the dash is a section for remote start but our remotes do not have the remote start button. Does this menu show up on all Edges with or without remote start enabled or do we have remote start and just need to get new remotes? Thanks!
