Don't know but I was told the CN strike should not affect. I have talked to my dealer this morning and he told me that he had received a "Gate released date" of March 8. I guess it should be anytime soon for him to receive it (Montreal, CA). On my trip back from Jay Peak last Friday I saw a train fully loaded with car wagons (You know the yellow ones with the screens). You can't see the cars inside the wagon but it was entering the Montreal Yard coming from west. I know mine was not part of that train cause the dealer would have had received a train number notification. That's what he says he usually get when the cars are shipped from the factory. Crossing my fingers for this week... Good luck

Thanks Jrod, This is an SEL AWD with 18" chrome though, Rear DVD, Tow package. With the current discussions about the chrome rims, is there any chance that the car got delayed or stuck at the "Blend" status for a while or once it passed the "blend" status it is cleared for production no matter what? I have a Ford order number from my dealer: it is E001. Have no idea if that can lead to any information for my VIN, if it exists yet. The order was confirmed to the dealer (by Ford) Jan 18. I also know my order has priority 80 :mellow: Hope the top one is not 1 cause I could be here for a long wait...hehehe I will try to get in touch with the Dealer. I have placed my order via a fleet location (Lutex) agency. Due to the volume they have with Ford, the agency has fleet status or something. My wife got her 05Mustang GT in a rather quick turn around (back in May 2005) while all the dealers had quota issues, so I am hoping the priority 80 is somehow high. Can anyone explain to me if priority 80 means something at the factory or if it is just a dealer thing? Thanks Marc G

Good day all, This is my first question. I have ordered an Edge mid January 07. It is an AWD, SEL, copper with camel interior. The options I have choseen are: Trailer Class II, Roof rack, Read DVD. This car is going to replace our 2001 X5 as the main family car, eventually. I wanted to have the Vista roof but was told that it is not possible with the Roof rail option. I need the roof rail so I can put on the Thule bike rack and the Thule cargo 'saussage'. I was very dissapointed not to be able to have the Vista roof as well. I do not quite understand. From the Edge I have seen, with the Vista roof, there should be enough clearance for the side rail and the Thule cross bar and the open Vista roof. The Roof raises only few inches above the normal roof line. I would like to know why the Roof Rail cannot be ordered with the Vista Roof. Is there a technical issue with having the Roof rail and the Vista? Can I add the roof rail from the dealer even with the Vista ordered from the Factory or the Vista mechnism makes it impossible to also have the Roof Rail at the same time? I do not know where my order is in the production sequence at this time. I will try to see if a VIN has been issued. How late in the production sequence can I make modifications to my option list i.e. change te Roof rail for the Vista roof for example? Thanks Regards, Marc G
