Hello, I was told when I picked up my '07 Edge that it was a "truck". My title from Ford shows it as a truck. My license plates in Texas show "truck". Ok, I thought, so there is some quirk in the vehicle laws that made Ford think it is a good idea to classify this vehicle as a truck. Maybe they take advantage of less restrictions on their design that way. Now the strange thing is I have seen a number of Edges out on the road with no "truck" on the Texas plates. I have some other Edges with "truck" on the plates, as I have on mine. So, which Edges are trucks? I'd appreciate hearing from a knowledgeable Ford employee. Thanks all!

Hello, I ordered an Edge SEL+ on 1/19/07 from Lone Star Ford in Houston. The dealer salesman told me he now has a VIN: 2FMDK39C07BA78612 Order No.=5104, Dealer code=52029 Can someone find this on the Ford system and give the status of the order? I had to guess at the full VIN -the only part my salesman could give me was 2F.......7BA78612. The rest I borrowed from a FWD EDGE SEL+ I found at another dealer. Thanks, TXMartin
