  1. New year and same problem. Problem continues with the message coming on part of the time and then going for days where it doesn't come on. Dealer had vehicle 4 days last week and I haven't had problem for 2 days & they thought might have solved problem, but I started it today & I might add not an easy start with the temperature -7 and getting the battery saver system malfunction again. Had a dead battery a couple of weeks ago and am losing confidence in the vehicle being a reliable vehicle that I want to keep. Anyone that is having this issue coming up with a solution?
  2. Here we are a new year and the same problem since the weather has turned cold. The dealership cannot seem to come up with a solution. They had my vehicle for 4 days last week and I started it today and get the same message. Not feeling very sure of the vehicle anymore as have had a dead battery in the last two weeks and vehicle hardly started today, Anyone hearing any updates on this problem?
  3. My problem isn't solved, Dealer worked on it 3 weeks ago and hadn't had any problem since weather has been warmer. Weather is chilly and damp today and the battery saver system came back on today. Taking back to dealer at the end of the week.
  4. my problem, I hope, got solved this week. Dealer did a reset of battery monitoring system on Wednesday and haven't seen the message since. Thank you to Ford for helping solve the mystery.
  5. :(I don't seem to be able to private message. A new wrinkle to the problem: it has been pretty cold the last couple of days and the message hasn't come up on my screen and the last time I think it come on the weather was snowy & cold. Could the problem be moisture & temperature related?
  6. I have 33,051 miles on it. Battery was replaced by dealer last year and that hasn't solved the problem.
  7. I've owned a 2011 Edge since 2011 and when the weather is cold (below 20 degrees) I get a message on my in touch screen that the battery saver system has malfunctioned, restart your engine and turn the ignition off. Doing this gets the same result and I get the battery saver system has malfunctioned again. I've had the vehicle to a dealer twice and they cannot find a solution. Now when it is cold I get the message about the battery saver system and when I take the key out of ignition the radio stops working right away. Looking for some help, please
