So I have read some complaints about the 390w system that I have in my '14 Limited and I agree with them... the bass is way too boomy and there is too much emphasis in the upper bass / lower mids.... I found myself reducing the bass well below the center '0' mark to lessen the spiking upper bass but then lower sub bass was being sacrificed. I listen to music stored on my iphone and Ive always left the iphone music player EQ turned to off (flat).... Well if you use an Iphone or an Ipod, try this... select 'bass reducer' in the EQ setting... This made a huge difference. I am now able to increase the bass on the Sony system and it is now fat and warm and the mids you want to hear come through really well... and when I crank it up, there is plenty of bass but Im not getting ear fatigue from over accentuated mid bass!... I know its not ideal to play source music anything other than flat, but this Edge stereo really benefitted from this... sounds great now.
