Im installing a new Pioneer head unit. I purchassed the metra wiring harness and have that wired and ready to go with the pioneer harness, however, when I removed the stock head unit, there where to harnesses plugged into it (no not the antenna) .. My question, what is the second smaller harness for? 2010 Ford Edge SE standard 4 speaker system, no subwoofer Thanks everyone, great forum so far.

Hello everyone, I have a 2010 SE, 4 speaker system, no navigation, dealer gave me info on SYNC, but there is no button like I see on other Edges, so I do not use sync or even know if I have it. Also, there are no steering wheel controls. That being said, this is only about the head unit, not any speaker involvement. Considering the Pioneer AVH-X2600BT, I know about the mounting kit and wiring harness. My question is, while doing research, I've been reading about antenna adapters, motion interfaces, bluetooth adapters, video adapters, etc. Do I really need all that stuff to simply install a new head unit, what do I actually need? Thanks in advance for any help.
