  1. Thanks for the replies and input. The Edge is going back to the dealer that did the work on 6/30/17. I'll post an update once there's more the report.
  2. Thanks WWWPrefA_ZNOW, your reply was very helpful. I don't have the alignment sheet from the work done (my bad!) and only have the bill/receipt. It sounds like I can rule out any issues with the rear shocks, correct. Also, I'll get another alignment and replace the rear tires. The Edge is an '13. Would the stats you provided for an '09 Edge be the same? I'll bring a copy of the stats you provided to the dealer.
  3. 2013 Edge AWD 41K miles Hi, there is premature tire wear on the inner edge of each of the rear tires. The left (driver) side shows more than the right side. The original tires were replaced at 20K, right before we purchased the car in 2015. There was an alignment done be a Ford dealer 4 months ago, when I originally noticed the wear. It appears to have gotten worse since then, so I doubt the rotation helped. We don't haul heavy items in the car. Could this be a rear shock issue? Any other comments/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
  4. We bought a used 2013 AWD Edge and it came with free oil changes, etc. for while. Now, I plan to start changing the oil myself. Are there grease fittings in front (and rear) that need attention every oil change? Thanks.
  5. Just noticed our 2013 Edge's right outside mirror's turn signal light has somehow been pushed into the mirror housing. The housing is ok, no scratches on the surface. That turn signal bulb doesn't light up anymore when activating the turn signal. The rest of the functions of the mirror are OK: the mirror can be power adjusted and the blind spot indicator works. I know how to remove the mirror. Before I get into the project, I'd like to know if anyone has had a similar issue or has replaced the turn signal bulb. How do you get to the bulb? Are the bulbs a dealer item? I did a search on the forum but didn't see anything. Thanks!
  6. Hi! After 245,000 miles on a 2004 Chrysler Town & Country we purchased new, the trans gave out (2nd one) so we donated it to charity. When looking for a replacement, my wife liked the Edge more than anything else we tested. We found a 2013 Edge Limited with 17,000 miles on it and bought it last week. So far, we like it a lot. I joined this forum to get (and give over time) helpful tips as I do most of the maintenance on our cars myself. I do have a couple of questions: There is a slight amount of rust beginning to show on the two exhaust tips in the rear. Thought these would be stainless steel. Does anyone have an issue with them rusting? I plan to use Mobil 1 (looks like Ford recommends 5-20). Any comments on that choice? Thanks in advance!
