I have a 2015 Sport, and have experienced none of these issues. I saw your post in another thread about the engine shutdown issue. Keep in mind that they're selling thousands and thousands of these and you're seeing a small subset of these cars. There's also a whole group of people (in general, not on this forum), who only come onto a site to post about something if something goes wrong. The pillar leak was a big deal early in the 2015 production, but it seems that they've got it under control now. My Edge was built in August, and has no issue at all with leaks.

I just used X-Plan provided through my employer on my 2015 Edge Sport. Provided them the PIN number, a copy of my health insurance card (has my company name on it). I had to challenge them on an incentive or two that was missing and that paid off. I ended up getting a Sport + 401a package for $38k and change. I'm leasing, and my lease payment is $100 less per month than it was for my 2013 Escape Titanium.

For the purposes of a "new" vehicle, is your concern the warranty and whatnot? I would expect the warranty to be 36,000 miles from when you took delivery - so, 36,689 or whatever the actual mileage is when you do the paperwork. One of the pieces of paperwork will be an affidavit of the odometer as part of your vehicle title process. I'm sure if you had an issue at 36,400 and you got any flak from the service department, a phone call and a copy of the paperwork would solve the problem in a jiffy.
