  1. I just wanted to chime in again to make certain that my particular problem is understood by all.

I am not referring to the typical "Low Tire Pressure" warning that you get when a tire is actually low. In my case, this has ben working just fine (two instances, both correct).

The issue I have encountered time and time again is a warning stating "Tire Pressure Sensor Fault", meaning that there is something reported as wrong with the system itself. The dealer and I have been monitoring this since taking delivery. See my first post for the details.

Thanks for the interest and input!

Matt, I did (and still do until my next dealer visit) have the same warning message as you.

  2. Well, I think mine was jsut due to the psi being 30 all the way around. the light did not come on the following morning.

It is my understanding that the light only comes on if one tire is different in pressure from the rest. I don't think it would be able to detect if all were low. Doesn't it use the anti-lock brake sensors to measure spin speed and find the low tire?

  3. Right. I should have said that we have had all four tires off and checked in the water tub (multiple times). Checked the rims, stems and sensors themselves. The system works fine other than the fault (had two low pressure warnings, correct each time).

I see a bunch of folks have checked out this post. I'd certainly love to hear if anyone else has experienced this as well. The more info I can uncover, the better I'll be able to work with my service department.

    Thanks!

Driving home today in my '07 AWD Edge and guess what!???? I'll take it to the dealer this week and see what they say. Funny thing is, I do have a Motorola charger but I haven't had it plugged in this week.

  4. Nice to know a 12" will fit in there. My only concern would be taking the vent out under the seat to place the amp, since that is for the heated & cooled seat. I'd worry about starting a fire with the heat function on. I would think that perhaps the amp might fit in the spare tire well?

Sorry, sorry, sorry! I have a 10" Alpine in the stock box, not a 12" (I was a little tired during my last post). As for the vent, I don't have heated/cooled seats so the piece I took out only serves to provide more airflow at the feet of the rear passengers.

  5. Does anyone know if there is enough room on the drivers side to locate a 2nd sub?

It's another idea altogether, but I took out the stock sub box, cut it's opening out a little wider, and managed to get an Alpine 12" in it. It was easier said than done and took a heat gun and some silicone but it's nice to have a real sub hidden in a stock spot. I have an Alpine amp hidden under the passenger seat to power it as well. I had to take out the air vent under that seat to get the amp under there but it now sounds crazy loud if I really crank the bass. Now I just need an aftermarket deck to really see what it can do.
