Anyone hardwired a radar detector in the edge?? How did you do it, and what wire did you tap into, or did you plug into a fuse box?

Well, didn't get it done this weekend. Ran outta time, but still plan on getting it done soon. As soon as I get pics, I will post them.

Was this a bolt on kit, or did the shop do custom work? How much did it run you total? Which Mufflers did you use? It's kindda confusing in your post.

That thread is talking about adding onto the stock airbox. I am talking about getting rid of that completely and doing an aluminum style tube intake from the tb to a cone filter. I would put the filter down right behind the bumper and remove the plastic piece in the bumper.

Just wondering if anyone on here has done a homemade CAI? I was looking at the wifes Edge yesterday, and saw how easy it would be to do one. Start right at the tb and go all the way down to the bumper. Anyone tried this yet? I am going to do it on Sunday with parts from Auto Zone. Hopefully stay under $60 for all the piping and throw in another 40 for a filter.
