  1. CrazyMadMan, Thank you very much for the information. When I read your reply, I started on a quest to find a used panel from a 2012, 13, or 14 Edge Limited. I didn't have any luck finding one that looked like my panel. I can't open the first two images (I assume that's what they are) in your post. The ebay link opens to one that looks quite different from mine. Mine has only one central round knob (not two), and the other controls also look different. I'm wondering if it is because my Edge has the upgraded Sony stereo (?). Or maybe the later years (ours is a 2011) changed the layout, but still work with the 2011 model? I found a broken panel from a 2012 Edge Sport that looked like mine (I've been to a bunch of auto dismantlers looking for a wrecked 12, 13, or 14 Edge to get this part). Did the replacement you got on ebay look similar to your original panel, or did your original one also only have one central knob like ours? Do you have the Sony upgraded stereo (I don't remember if this is standard on the Limited, or if it was optional)? Thanks again for your help - this is turning out to be a lot more complicated than I expected. Doug
  2. I'm having the same problem with our 2011 Edge Limited with the upgraded sound system. The hazard light "button" (that doesn't actually move) and CD eject have always been frustrating (hard to get to work when you want them to, but sometimes coming on when you don't). Recently, the hazard lights started coming on completely by themselves. One evening, various of my neighbors came to my door three times to tell me that my hazard lights were on while the car was sitting in my driveway. I would go out, unlock the car, mess with the button, start the car, etc. until I was finally able to get the hazard lights off. Then I would lock it up and go back in the house. An hour or so later, someone else would come by and tell me they were on again (with the car locked, and no one in it). The next day, the battery was dead (probably from the hazards being on during the night). I've looked on-line at Ford parts dealers and ebay, but am having a hard time finding the part I need using the part numbers and descriptions mentioned in previous posts. I would like to take one out of a salvaged Edge Limited and replace it myself (with the new one that has real, moving buttons), but it isn't clear to me if I can just do this and have it work, or if some sort of software update will be needed even if I replace the physical part myself . I'm trying to avoid taking it to the dealer if I can do it myself. Has anyone done this themselves? Can you offer any more advice? Thanks Doug
