I'm new to this forum and have a some questions concerning HID headlights, so please bare with me.
I have a 2014 Edge Limited with standard headlights and am interested in going to HID's.
First, my existing lights are both Hi and Low beam, what king of HID kit would I purchase?.
Secondly how does the HID provide both Hi beam and Low beam with 1 bulb?.
Also I was under the impression that the lamp holder has to be a projector type for each HID bulb. so the light does not scatter, thereby eliminating on coming vehicles from flashing you .My Edge has only 1 projector housing.
I did have a 2009 F150 and wanted to change to HID, but was told I'd have to change the lamp holder to a projector type, which was a very expensive change over.
Do i have to add a second projector housing?
Any answers would be very much appreciated.
