  1. Thank you for all the input! I'm in Western NY so the typical winter snow runs from mid-November to February, sometimes March. Plowing and salting is usually pretty good as well. Not really driving through Siberia or anything where chains would be needed lol. Blizzaks are unfortunately out of the price range right now, so if I needed to get snow tires I may need to go with the Sailun ICE BLAZER WST2's on Dunn Tire's site.
  2. Hey everyone! I was hoping I could get some fellow Edge drivers' input on how these babies handle in snow and ice. I have a 2010 Limited AWD, and it has Pirelli Scorpion's (20") all around. As of right now the tires are about 40-50% treadlife left, so I was contemplating getting new ones depending how these do in the snow. I was wondering what kind of winter performance you saw with all-season tires, to see if snow tires would be worth the extra money. Not sure if the AWD system can be an adequate substitute if using all-seasons instead of the snow tires. Last year I had a FWD 1997 Taurus with Goodyear Ultragrip snow's all around, so it's not really an accurate comparison. Any input is appreciated, thank you!
  3. Update: I just unchecked the "audio streaming" option on the phone. Right when the phone wasn't playing THEN it recognized the USB. Everything seems to be working so far. Thank you again!
  4. Got it, thank you. I'll try to find the manual to see how to shut off the autoplay. the USB is formatted as Fat32. Do you have all the songs in one folder? or are they split up among multiple folders?
  5. Hey everyone! I just bought a used 2010 Edge Limited about a week ago, and I need some help regarding the Sync and using a USB for music (didn't come with a manual and searching didn't turn up any concrete answers). Whenever I turn the car on it automatically syncs to my phone, which is fine and all, but it also automatically plays the music on it. I have a USB with about 550 songs on it that I want to be the default music source. I plugged it in yet the car won't recognize it, it's not even an option via the menu. They're all mp3's and the files are all valid. I'm not sure if there's some weird limit on how big of a folder the system can read (had to limit folders to 100 songs each on an older Kenwood receiver I had in another car)? Basically what I want to do is have the car play the music from the USB by default, but still be synced to my phone for calls. How can I make that happen? Thanks in advance!
