Is anyone having problems with the tailgate closing by itself?

I have only owned my 2015 edge since Labor Day and three separate times, while bent into the trunk, the automatic tailgate started closing. Anybody else experiencing that? It was quite scary and alarming, and good thing, my key was nearby and I was able to press the button to stop it. If it was an infant or an expensive golf club, I'm afraid it might have been crushed.
