I was out today shopping for a new car and started negotiations on a 08 Edge Limited AWD

 

How good is this deal?? Haven't finalized anything yet, may go to a few other dealers tomorrow and do some comparrison shopping.

No trade (yet) = I have a 99 Mercury Cougar in great shape except for the guy (17 Y/O kid with dads pickup decided to run his trailer hitch across the hood) that backed into it on Sunday. I have get it fixed before I can trade. Easy fix, just needs a hood. I would take $3000 after it's fixed.

 

Negotiated price included Ford cash & Rebates of $2500

It pays to do you research, counter offer and not accept an e-price!

The invoice for this car is $33,273 (MSNAuto.com) and the dealer is asking

$33,900. Which is $627.00 over invoice. I have counter offered $300 over invoice.

The car is not on my dealers lot, but at another dealers lot. Not sure where.
