Hi all, I just bought a 2007 Edge SEL with the standard radio. I wanted to upgrade to a Navigation system so I have the Navigation, DVD, and Bluetooth. I am leaning towards the OEM product so that the steering wheel controls still work. I believe the 2007 Navigation system was Pioneer and was upgraded to a Clarion system in 2009. My question is, will the upgraded 2009 system (Clarion?) system work and is it still just 'plug and play' or do I have to stick with the 2007 (Pioneer?) system? I read conflicting opinion when I did a search- something about the SYNCH system in '09. Thanks for your time and knowledge. Seamus.

Thank you for your input and advice. I do have AWD. All the fluids are topped and fresh. Tires have deep tread left. Wipers clear completely. I was thinking of checking / swapping the battery out.

Just put a deposit to hold my 07 Edge SEL. Doing paperwork Saturday. Had no intention to buy one, but saw one at a great dealership, loaded, with low miles. We have a toddler and are working on #2. Was really impressed with the amount of room for the size. My wife loved it, and it drove really nice. Have always been a Jeep guy, but the space to cost ratio is much better in the Edge and it's reliability seems better than the comparable Grand Cherokee. What do I need to look out for at 55k and thanks for having me. My wife and I are really impressed with the car.
