Yes the key was in the on position. And I haven't tried the other key I will head back over to try that. I did jiggle the shifter all different directions and tried several times didn't fix anything. Would a theft feature keep it from starting when straight wiring the starter?

I have a 2008 edge with 98k miles on it and have loved every single day of ownership til this morning lol. When turning the key I have full electronics and head lights so I eliminated battery. I then bypassed the starter thinking it may be that and the starter was turning and the motor just wouldn't turn over even with the starter being jumped and engaging. Only thoughts are a safety swith not registering it's in park or something with the ignition!
