My '13 Edge does not have the big touch screen computer in the dash, it has a smaller screen for the radio info, temps, etc. Size is 2x4". I find it to be very distracting while driving at night; every day I am using the dimmer buttons, high during the day to see the dash stuff, then dim it down as far as it goes so I can watch for deer. I still end up holding my hand up to block it. I'm afraid if I keep doing this I'll wear out those buttons, or the dimmer system over time? I was thinking of finding some dark static window cling material to cover it with at night, but was wondering if anyone else is bothered by this and what options are out there. Thanks!

Hi! I'm Jess, and my Edge's name is Penny, named after Penny from the Big Bang theory because she's tough yet sparkly! I test drove two 2015 Edge's as well as a 2015 Escape. I liked the Edge but I liked the size of the Escape better, and the new Edge, those front fenders roll up over the height of the hood and I just wasn't comfortable driving it either time. I told him that I wish I could combine the two into one vehicle. Then one day we went to look at trucks just so my hubby can dream (we love our '08 F150) and he spots this Edge SEL, it's a '13, only 14k miles on it... AWD, class 2 towing package, V6, no eco, no sun roof, and glitter that won't quit! Black tuxedo metallic, in the sun I can just stare at it, I'm a sparkle girl. Her size is perfect for me, right inbetween like I wanted. She's mine now for almost 3 months and I love her. Just had remote start installed yesterday. So, that's it... hi!
