  1. That would be my first impression as well, and what I was planning on doing until I read the manual. The manual has a specific statement in it stating not to put things like bumper stickers on the bumper as it will affect the sensor operation. Since paint film is thicker than a bumper sticker then presumably it would affect the sensors as well. It's all a bit unclear, hence my question here to see if anyone had any experience with this.
  2. The BLIS sensors are located behind the bumper fascia and are not visible from the outside. They are located somewhere near the corners, but the dealer has indicated their exact location can vary between vehicles as Ford makes adjustments to improve performance of the BLIS system. The small round sensors that are visible are the parking assist sensors. These can be cut around.
  3. Yes, but testing would involve spending some money to have film installed, only to have it removed it it causes a problem with the sensor. Was hoping someone may have some experience with this.
  4. Hi All, I was planning on wrapping the rear bumper of my Edge with clear paint protection film (same as normally used on front of the car) to protect from scratches when leaning things against bumper. However owners manual indicates the BLIS sensors located behind the bumper should not be covered with bumper stickers. Is the paint film likely to cause any performance issues with the BLIS sensors? Thanks in advance\
