I have a 2007 Ford Edge SEL Plus and looking to install a Touchscreen Nav/Bluetooth system that will pair with iPhone. I do not have Sync but do have the steering wheel controls that I would like to continue to use. Any suggestions on a system? I've search here and there, but seems a little overwhelming. I've searched Pioneer and seems this unit will work: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/GPS-Navigation-Systems/AVIC-X920BT But seems like someone posted a thread about a model that has the white backlight to match the rest of the dashboard lights. Suggestions?

I have a 2007 SEL+ with just over 16,000 miles. Went to crank the engine today, and nothing. Called roadside assistance, they came and jumped the battery and noticed there was some corrosion on the battery connection. He said to let the vehicle idle for a bit and then drive around for a little while to charge up battery. So I did. Let it idle for about 20 minutes, and then drove it around for another 20-25 minutes. As I was pulling into my parking garage at home, it stalled while I was in driving and had the vehicle in drive. Called roadside assistance back and they sent a towtruck and had it towed to the dealership. Will find out tomorrow what is wrong. Anyone else experience any corrosion like this?? I'm wondering if a new altenator is needed.

Thanks for all the info and advice. I went to the dealership yesterday and they quoted me $785 to have it fixed. So I will check with another place tomorrow and see if I can get them to beat that estimate.

Wow - thanks for the 'estimate' and I will certainly let you know if I have any questions - should I take it to the dealership or just a regular body shop??

I have a 2007 Edge in Light Sage Metallic and unfortunately, have put my first scratch - well, it's more than a scratch, I scraped the side of a pole a couple of weeks ago. Anyone know if touch-up paint would work in this case, or is a trip to the paint shop in order?
