Thanks for your quick answer but by this, I need to take my usb and every album I've got I need to create as a playlist ? That's $#@ ! Mind my language... There's got to be a practical solution.

Hey, I've got a USB with hundreds of albums attached to Myford Touch, all mp3's and as far as I can tell, all got a correct tag (using TagEditor on Mac). For some weird reason, all (!) the tracks are in Alphabetic order and not by track number. How can I arrange it to play an album as intended to by played ? Cheers for your help.

I'm just started to write a replay, saying I solved the problem In another Ford forum they wrote a trick that worked: Insert the USB into a PC computer - run CMD to the usb directory - write command: del /s /q /f /a:h ._* ​Apparently, Mac creates an invisible file with metadata that should have been ignored by MFT system. Anyway, all my duplicates are now gone ! Still having 2 issues of track order in albums and the weird and occasional indexing at startup... but thats for a separate post. Lots of thanks for your help.

I'm using Mac... I heard there's a problem with duplicates caused by the Mac system... Anyone ??

Hey, I've downloaded multi albums / artist songs to my USB. All songs are mp3 - with perfect tags (I think), been using TagEditor. Anyway, MyFord duplicated the mp3's and added _ to the titles, and now it says those files are not supported. I need to scroll till the original files and than it plays... Help me please

Hello, I'm a newly Ford Edge Titanium 3.5 2016 owner and I'm loving it ! Only two downside points... (1) The side mirrors do not fold electronically. (2) My music (via USB) don't work as expected. Since my first problem is without a solution, I turn for your help on the music issue. My USB is filled with albums and sorted music files. All mp3. All mp3 have proper tags, track numbers, unprotected, etc. Two bad errors appear: (1) The albums never play by their order. (2) Files got duplicates with a _ sign before, and the Sony system can't read them. Since I have folders with 100 songs, it duplicates them and doesn't play... I attached a couple of pics – you can see the duplicates and the wrong track order. In this folder I tried to trick the system. I added alphabets before the track number. Thinking it will sort the order. The thing happened is that the duplicates are in order and the files which do play, are mixed ! Weird. So, can someone help me ? This is a real downside for all the joy I get riding my car. Cheers !
