The issue is resolved. My local Ford dealer plugged in and activated the camera free of charge and everything is working again!

Does the dealer have to do that or can a shop that has advanced scan tools?

I recently replaced my failed backup camera on my 2011 Edge Limited. The new camera does not show the green/yellow/red guild lines. Sync is updated to latest version. Are those guide lines built into camera?
