  1. Both ends of the racks slide off. Then just simply unscrew them. You'll have to replace the channel piece with a different one that doesn't house the rack.
  2. Who did you speak to? And how confident did they sound? The reason I ask is because I just got an email from them saying that there were NOT doing the Ford Edge Projectors.... Bummed if that's true....I want them!!!
  3. yeah, i need the tires included...trying to take a quick and seamless approach...thanks though.
  4. anyone have a set with decent tire life in Southern California ( OC Area )???
  5. The labor involved is pretty intimidating......... The music................(insert gun in mouth.)
  6. I checked these out....cant really see how they are actually anchored to your existing headlight housing....any ideas?
  7. just get a flat head and place in between the cover and the bumper on the inner reveal towards the center of the vehicle. Then just "pop" it off. Easy as pie....takes a little effort but it'll come off.
  8. I painted these and they came out PERFECT. Selling them on ebay.....here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=260405786517
  9. 1/28/09...these are still available. All 4 17'' stock wheels/tires with sensors, 20k miles on them. $199 in Southern California. I live in OC, but can drive within a reasonable distance to meet.
  10. no, i just cleaned with 409....then applied a few coats of plastic primer...waited an hour or so, then applied a few coats of $.98 per can Lowes Flat Black paint. Turned out great. Beware though, it will chip. I usually just wait a while and touch them all up
  11. its starting to chip a little.....just a little touch up and its good again. This will do until i do the vinyl overlay thing. Here's a pic of my edge out of gas coming back from mammoth.......note to self: don't let friends drive while you sleep.
  12. Do any of you think it would be possible to effectively get the amber insert out of the headlights? I hate the orange look. And I also want to take the taillights apart and paint the chrome trim on them black (like the sport). I wish there were aftermarket headlights or Altezza taillights available for our rides. I've already painted my grille and foglight bezels black, and want to finish off a "cleaner" look. I guess I could always do a lens tint, but its not really the path I want to take.
  13. I am looking for 20'' wheels for my ride...but i am trying to discern what the offset will appear like on the car. I have seen some with an offset of 25 and some with as much as 45. Where do I need to be at in order for a 20 x 8.5 wheel and a 245/50/20 tire to look good. (ie: not sticking out or rubbing) thanks
