Thanks for the response but it does not seem to be able to be just pulled out. the rear edge can be loosened but it does appear to have some kind of fastening. I have read and seen the video on earlier models but nothing on the 15.

How do you remove the map light/sunglass holder unit from the headliner. Looking to access the wiring and install a homelink adjacent in the headliner
