Ok seems that since i have an update available (4.4) the Status Checker Tool button does not come up. Either that, or because i am logged in with a 2010 with Basic Sync. it is not available. Can someone find the checker tool and copy the link for me? thanks!

thanks for the reply. i have done that, but what if the info has not been updated? i myself have downloaded the update, what would happen if i install the update and not let Ford know? is there a way to actually see what software version is actually being used? thanks again

Hi, i have been struggling to update the Basic Sync system in my 2010 Edge LTD to the 4.4, with no success. Before continuing, how can i check what version is installed? Officially, according to Ford, last update was to 3.1 in 2011. Dont know if that is accurate though (vehicle is new to me) Is there a way to check what is installed? BTW no VHR in my vehicle thanks!
