The PTU looks to be a common fault with the Edge. I just had ours replaced in our 07 SEL last week. $1700 bill! When I contacted Ford, and informed them that I'm seeing this part going out on many Edge forums, they told me to let others with this problem know that they need to contact Ford. When you do contact Ford give your VIN# and it will be logged with Ford and the NTSB. He also advised to keep repair receipts in case Ford does in the future decide to help with repairs.

Hello all! Wife and I just traded in our 03 Expedition for a new 07 Edge (only 125 miles on it). Looked at the 08s and the dealer had an 07 SEL with Chrome wheels, and 6-disc audiophile upgrade. With incentives we got it for $24500. Wanted SYNC but of course wasn't offered on 07. Also wanted Sirius but, believe it or not, it had the audiophile upgrade but didn't have sirius. Has anyone added Sirius to an 07? I've added several plug and plays to different rigs but I'd like to add on a direct connect. Any help from other Edge owners is appreciated.
