I'm sure this has probably been discussed a million times or more, but my search came up inconclusive. I have an 07 SEL AWD loaded with all options except Bluetooth, since we acquired this thing last summer, the Nav system works intermittently, it will work for awhile some days, but other days it wants nothing to do with working. I have bought and tried a new disc with no improvement. So, my question is, since I assume I have to replace the head unit completely, can I upgrade to a newer OEM system? Is it plug and play? What kind of modifications need to be made for the upgrade?
Needless to say, I'm not a fan of the DVD version of the nav system.
