I have been doing a bit of Google Fu as i prep to change the coolant myself for the first time. A couple of videos I’ve watched talk about opening the coolant bleeder vale to purge the air. I however seem to be blind as i do not see it – supposedly it is located near the thermostat Can anyone confirm if the 2011 does indeed have a bleeder valve. if there isn’t one, what is the best way to bleed the system after refilling. TIA

Recently the lift gate on my 2011 Edge Limited has decided to close itself immediately after it is opened. This does not happen every time it is opened but when it does There is a warning sound (dinging). It doesn’t seem to matter if i use the fob, the dash button or the exterior button. Additionally I can reverse it by blocking it or hitting one of the various buttons used to control it. However, i have to do so several times before the lift gate “gives up.” All of the struts – large and small – seem ok.| Wondering where the lift gate sensors are located so i can take a look at them as the issue seems to occur when it is raining / snowing. Would pulling the appropriate fuse do anything? I’d prefer to not disconnect the battery as i would then have to relearn everything. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. TIA.
