To me, the former owner of a V-8 Expedition, which I loved but would only get 11 mpg in the city and 16 mpg on the highway, those numbers look GREAT to me. Besides we all know that you can't have a great looking vehicle and get 50 mpg, we make our choices based on many different things. Mine now has about 100 miles on it and the computer says 14.1.....it's all good.

Someone had posted this site before. I ordered the body side molding and the silver trim to go across the back of the liftgate (where the Ford symbol is). I received both items in a week or less and they are perfect.....but since I only picked my Edge up on Wednesday I haven't had the time to install them yet. Hopefully this weekend and then I will be sure to post pictures. Sue

Edgygirl, I absolutely agree with all of your comments above. I was used to pulling the liftgate of my Expedition so the Edge is a breeze. I would say the only issue is the location of the handle. My Expedition had a strap that as you were pulling on you could kind of bend your hand. But I think the Edge is a breeze.....I'm really falling in love with mine! Sue

Hello everyone! Still waiting........my dealer has 5/1/07 (today) as the delivery date but as of now nothing yet....... Quick question, this moring I saw an ad for Lincoln's and it claimed that they were now giving you 3 years of Sirius for free. Has anyone else seen that commercial? And hopefully, has anyone seen it for Ford's? Thanks, Sue

They are. I think the other polishes listed above are for all of the OTHER chrome on our Edge's. But it was good to point that fact out again!

Thanks! No, not yet But the latest from Blueovalforums is that it was released on Monday April 23rd!! :yup: So, I am hoping for a delivery date of next week. I had looked for one with everything that I wanted and actually found it, but they sold it before I could get my hands on it. So we ordered it and have waited (and waited and waited). Everything that I am reading it has been worth the wait.....just hope I feel the same! Sue

Noreen, Congratulations!! Bless your ability to wait! I on the other hand am absolutely going crazy waiting for mine. I guess it doesn't help that I am driving around in a 1993 Mazda Miata that is SO small that I don't feel safe in it. I'm glad to hear that it is worth the wait. I think that delivery on my birthday (April 25th) would be a wonderful birthday present....what do you think? Have fun with it! Sue

I can't answer that question.....maybe Ford wanted to differentiate the AWD version. They just became available in March.

NLR.....sounds like you are being too trusting. I'll ask you again....did you get a VIN # from your dealer? If you have not or if they are unwilling to give it to you then I would have to guess that A. it was ordered, delivered & sold or B. that they never ordered it for you. I know that dealers in my area have them on their lot and if your's isn't ordered they should be able to find one for you. Good luck!

I ordered the new wheels (available only on the AWD models) but mine hasn't been built yet. Has anyone else ordered them and has taken delivery? I would love to see a picture! :yup:

Can't get roof rails with a BAMR......unless you figure out a way to work around the BAMR.
