    UPDATE: 4pm 3/28

Well I'll be an Unkeys Muncle. It worked!! Pulled the neg battery cable for a few minutes then hooked it back up and reading the USB stick is restored. Thanks all for the input and feedback. I am VERY happy to have my USB music back. Looks like all the radio settings have not be affected either.

It did not, however, restore the guidelines on the reverse cam but the cam still functions fine and the audio warnings are still there. So that I can live with.

    Thanks again!

Got the Edge back this aft (that was quick!). From the Invoice "DTC U3000:41 present. Performed PMI on RCM and ABS Modules. Performed IVD Sequence and cleared codes. Test drive OK, Retest OK, Battery OK." Now, I don't know what all that means but everything seems to be back to normal now other than my wallet being $270.00 lighter.
  3. chefduane's post in Blue Oval Forums crashes IE11? was marked as the answer
OK, so I verified that I am on the latest version Java AND I uninstalled all the previous versions. I checked to see if Flash was enabled and it was. I have no specific adblocker running although do run MS Security Essentials and Defender. I periodically run Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware and so far I've had no malware or system hijacks. Also I run CCleaner periodically just to keep the clutter down. I also just ran the MS updates to make sure I am up to date with Win 7. I run Win 7 SP1 64bit.

So for the update.. BOF still does not like FireFox. I am running 54.0.1 which I think is the latest version. HOWEVER, BOF now seems to like IE11 again! I am able to get logged on no problem just as before. No 'IE stopped working' dialog box. So I am back to normal with IE11. Don't know what it was or what I did to rectify the error but all seems ok now.

Thanks for all the input on what to check, etc.. Whatever y'all had me run through seemed to fix the issue! Probably ghosts in the machine.
    Thanks!
