My 2008 Edge did the same thing after I drove it off the lot. Took it back over and over. Nothing wrong. They flushed it, adjusted it with computer. After the warranty was up. The transmission kept doing it. Took back again . Guess what I needed a new transmission. I asked for my service recorders as I was faithful with my services. It show that "customer requested a transmission flush". No other notations. Now I'm a women who knows nothing about cars. Why on earth would I request that . I had to pay for the transmission. also while in reverse my brakes grind loud. Again they keep telling me that's just the Edge. It's so loud it's embrassing. I've put new breaks on both front and back. The dealership put them on. It still does it. I've bought a Ford for 50 years. This is my last. I don't like the run around and being lied too. Done with Ford! Oh I call Ford headquarter. Was told basically to bad! I have 91,000 on my Ford Edge. Transmission replaced at 71,000. One owner!
