  1. NO WAY!! Not after that lengthy explanation you gave me in the other thread  No, actually its not really noticable difference so I figured I'd let the wife keep the nicer rims on her SEL.
  2. Now officially a 2-Edge family! Really happy with the performance. And the comparison between the SEL and SE...WOW, there is practically no difference at all! If you can look past the SE missing a few upgraded trim accents (leather wheel, chrome bezel, white face gages, etc) the fit and finish is really good. It doesn't feel like your skimping by buying an SE, the standard fit and finish is much better than expected. I know a lot of people feel the interior ic "cheap" IMO it looks nice, it looks quality, but the feel is somewhat lacking. I am impressed though with the SE in general, I do wish it had fogs though, that's the only thing I really miss. I also got the SIRUS sat radio, It came on there, I didn't want it, but now that I have it...I LOVE IT!! howw could I have gotten by without this!! Also, got the stone interior, I really like it, its such a unique color, goes nicely with the Red exterior. Overall really impressed with the car...er.. truck...er...CUV!
  3. You have a lot of time on your hands don't you sim! J/K :yup:
  4. I would have to say that considering the Edge is an AWD Crossover and not a sports car, the performance is much better than I expected. I think the AWD is the way to go, I drove a 2wd, and had a hard time keeping the front wheels glued to the ground on hard accels. The engine is a bit lould, but has great power and it feels quick for such a heavy vehicle. Obviously the handling isn't up there w/ my Focus which is wonderful, but for its height and weight I would rate the handling as better than expected as well. I will have to comment more after I spend more time behind the wheel!
  5. Thanks for the help. The only reason I ask is that on our SEL, it has 18" wheels and my little kids have a hard time getting in and out, especially when its wet and slushy out. My SE is going to have 17's and when I get it I was going to swap the tires if it would help lower it a little bit. Once I get my SE, I'll just measure both of them, but I expect the difference to be minimal if at all.
  6. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a difference in the step-in height (Height from floor of vehicle to ground) fir an Edge with 18" wheels vs. one with 17" wheels. You would think there would be, but none is listed in the material I have read?
  7. My wife and I got our SEL AWD in Carbon about 2 months ago. We liked it so much I just sold my '04 SVT Focus and we ordered a 2nd Edge. I pick it up Thursday, its a SE AWD in Redfire about as loaded as an SE can be!
