Yup, I agree. But to make up for the lack of rear windows opening, the Panoramic moonroof pops open. And if you don't have a BAMR (moonroof), the back hatch window explodes.

Wait, the moonroof open in the 2015+ edge? Have you tried it?

My car is equipped with the panoramic moonroof, however it only opens the two front windows?

Has anyone found a cover/case for the new 2017 smart key for the edge?

I have been looking all over internet(ebay, alibaba, amazon, etc) but no success yet,

The new smart key for the fusion/edge looks like this:

Try pressing the door unlock once (to first unlock to doors). Then press and hold the door unlock for three seconds to open all windows.

 

(I dont remember precisely but I think the door must be locked first for the window function to operate).

 

Also this feature can be turned on and off. Make certain it's turned on. See your owner's manual.

How do you operate this? It only worked once for me and that's it. In my BMW X6 i only press the unlock for more than 3 seconds and they all go down, i did the same thing (with the EDGE Sport 16) and the first time it works, now it doesn't lol. Do you need to be more than 5ft away from the car or only works when you stand next to it?

Thanks! I took a look of Llumar windows film, however they are not available in my country so no warranty =/.

When I have my windows tinted they always use 3M which is considered one of if not the best tint film. They have a lifetime warranty against defects.

3m Is the best IMO but...5%? You have to have problems seeing. I had a blazer that I tinted 5%. I had to roll down the windows to see the around corner. With my Lincoln I went with 20% all around but nothing on the wind shield.

Well, in the night it's a little bit harder, but nothing to harsh, it's like you just need to get used to it, and my vision is great right now, no glasses or anything. In some parking lots, i do need to roll down the window to see, because it's too dark, but it happen like 1 every 4 months haha.

all you guys buying higher wattage, keep an eye on your wiring, just going from a 50watt halogen to a 60w HIR requires a Relay so you don't start a fire...so imagine going even higher...

But the LED is 80W halogen equivalent, it only uses 16W power, then that's not a problem?

Anyone tried for superbrightled.com or VLED for the license plate? Any problems?

 

I personally purchased my puddlelights from Drive Bright, I love how they look. You can check out the youtube video on how to install. As a bonus they usually ship a pair of plate LEDs. Nice touch and great customer service.

Did they fit nice in the Edge 2015+? Which one did you buy the V8 Extreme?

I'm sure you will get a bulb out warning, I disabled the bulb out notification with forscan instead of using resistors. The H15 I purchased were from iJDmtoy.com. There is a picture above with the license plate lit with the leds. They have about the same output as the OEM ones just a different color.

Bulb out issues with replacing the H15 halogen with the H15 LED? Which brand of H15 LED did you purchase? VLED? Also, do you have any pic of the rear license plate at night, i don't know if the VLED are going to be "too bright"

But if you replace the H15 (halogen) in a F.E. Sport with HID, and swap it over to H15 LED, won't you get bulb light out issue / flashing or will need a resistor?
