I had to replace my cv joint on my 2008 Edge awd front passenger side. I have been given the incorrect seal 3 times! The latest one from Ford is part number 7T4Z-7R284-A. It's too big to fit into the transfer case. The inner diameter fits the cv joint. I was also told I needed kit DB5Z-7275-D which concerns me because we didn't pull anything out that resembled any of those parts. Can anyone help me with this? I have to drive 1 1/2 hours to get to the Ford dealership and am tired of wasting money, time and gas. Thank you for any help!
