  1. Can anyone give me any instructions for removing the front and rear ford emblems? I think the front has actual screws holding it on and the rear is simply double sided taped on. Is this correct? any instructions on removing the front ford emblem would be appreciated greatly!

  2. I just replaced the center caps on my 2016 Edge Sport when I replaced the wheels/tires. I bought black gloss powder coated wheels and the stock center caps were blue and looked stupid since my car is only red and black. There are plenty of online replacement options for different color/design center caps. Just be careful that you aren't buying them from China. Measure your center cap diameter first because they are listed in inches and it millimeters online depending on the seller. On the 2015 and up, the center cap diameter is 2.12" or 54mm, not sure if thats the same for Gen 1 Edges. Good luck

  3. I guess its worth a shot to try plasti-dip. Worst case, I can always take it off easily, right? I just wish it came out a little more glossy. All the videos and pictures I've seen with plasti-dip looks like the finish is very matte, is this correct? I'm getting my custom painted Ford logos this week for the front and rear. Had the ford lettering and outer oval border done in ruby red on black background. I'll post pics when I get them on.

  4. Here's my 2016 Edge Sport. Absolutely love this car. I bought it with the 20 inch wheels but ended up replacing them with the 21's after black gloss powder coating, black center caps, black gorilla locking lugs. I'd like to finish the Ruby Red on Black look all around, including all the chrome emblems/logos. Its pretty easy to find the 9" and 5" ford oval emblems in all sorts of custom configurations, but i'm having trouble finding the rear tailgate "EDGE" and "SPORT" logos in black. Any suggestions on getting this done would be greatly appreciated! Anything other than plasti-dip that is. I'm not sold on that plasti-dip stuff, I just feel like it will come off after a month or two, although I've never used it so it may be better than I think. I'm looking for a high end paint option.
