I took delivery of my 2016 Edge Sport in Sept 2016. The exhaust odor in the cabin started immediately and smells similar to sulphur. The odor occurs at any speed and not at WOT when the a/c is in recirc mode. It seems faster to get rid of the odor by putting the a/c in "fresh" mode (outside air) rather than opening the windows and losing all the cool air that is in the cabin. The dealer has found many leaks including in the tailgate. But, after two attempts the odor has not stopped. This is the only vehicle I have owned (my last Ford product was a 2003 Explorer V8 4x4) that has had this problem. I am very disappointed with this car.
