Never ended up finding out what it was....just lived with it. Traded the car this past summer after the nav screen went out....good luck!

2011 Ford Edge Limited climate control cuts out when turning the steering wheel. Functions normally after completing the turn and straightening out the wheel. When this happens I also get he message about not having a SD car for the nav. It's the push button start with the nav and dual zone climate control if it matters. Any info or guidance is much appreciated.

still have the issue. Going to try the MAF next and possibly the temp sensor. I saw a post where that could contribute to the issue......car thinks it's hotter or colder than it really is... I'll post the fix if I ever get one!

Thanks for the diagram! I replaced the sensor and still have the issue, no better or worse than before. Changing the sensor took about two hours. Getting it back in was quite the production. The rough equivalent of threading a needle blindfolded....but did it without pulling the cat or exhaust.... Going to try the MAF next

Still having the issue with starting. No codes, brought to the dealer and they couldn't find an issue either. It always starts, just sometimes takes a long time cranking before it catches. I'm going to change the crank sensor, but can't find anything out there on it. It appears to be buried under the front side of the engine behind the oil filter and exhaust manifold. Any pictures or diagrams would be appreciated.

I replaced the purge valve and do not have any codes. Still has the problem and seems to happen more frequently but with no consistency. I've also swapped the horn and fuel pump relays to isolate the relay. My wife seems to think that the brake pedal seems firmer when it does start right away vs. the long crank starts. I've not experienced that but wanted to mention. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The dealer allegedly changed the purge valve. I don't have an engine light on, but will look into both this weekend, thanks for the info!

It cranks fine, not slow at all, it just doesn't catch when it should when it does this. Most times it's fine!

2011 limited has an intermittent starting issue. Most times will start fine with the push button start, other times cranks 3+ times longer than normal before it starts. No rhyme or reason when it happens, warm/ cold, various amounts of gas in vehicle. Any suggestions. Bought it from a used car dealer and it didn't do it when I brought it back.
