Thanks for your solution, however I have to replace the assembly as mine is broken but still shifting! Heading on a fishing trip to Kerr Lake in Virginia next week pulling my boat and don't want to get stuck with a shifter that stops working!!! LOL!

Hey man, I just ordered my new shifter assembly to install on my 2013 Ford Edge! Is there any other suggestions you have to share on this subject?????? Thanks for sharing your project with us!
