Damn, those look great! And this sealed the deal for me going with gunmetal or a darker color (not black) on my pearl 2011.

I would avoid XXR's at all cost. Especially on a 5k lb. SUV.
They're cheap for a reason. Along with all the other knockoff brands. Do it once, do it right.

Edit: This relates to projector housing vehicles only just to be clear.
So after I ordered my HID kit from Drive Bright, I started reading all about why you should never use HID bulbs in a Halogen application. They were talking about the alignment of the filament being wrong along with the position of the filament being in a different spot so the Halogen projectors will not work for an HID bulb. I read lots of controversy about this but I never saw an actual comparison in our application. There were lots of people here who said that they work great but no explanation of why they seem to work fine in our cars.
Do you have a link to the exact kit you ordered? I will probably go with 5500k, but your write-up seems to be the best of any that are out there, with proof that installation wasn't an issue.

I have a 2011 ford edge sport. I just installed h&r lowerings springs which are 1.75 front and 1.5 rear. Will i need an alignment? And if there is something else i need id like to know.
I'm curious, are you still running the factory shocks / struts? If so, how is the ride with the H&R springs?
How to remove the chrome clad from your wheels

I'm glad to know that cladding comes off. One of mine was curbed by the PO and the chrome is peeling off.
I think I'll rip the claddings off and plastidip these for now, then turn them into winter wheels once I buck up and get some nice summer wheels.
