I'm glad to know that cladding comes off. One of mine was curbed by the PO and the chrome is peeling off. I think I'll rip the claddings off and plastidip these for now, then turn them into winter wheels once I buck up and get some nice summer wheels.

Damn, those look great! And this sealed the deal for me going with gunmetal or a darker color (not black) on my pearl 2011.

I would avoid XXR's at all cost. Especially on a 5k lb. SUV. They're cheap for a reason. Along with all the other knockoff brands. Do it once, do it right.

Do you have a link to the exact kit you ordered? I will probably go with 5500k, but your write-up seems to be the best of any that are out there, with proof that installation wasn't an issue.

I'm curious, are you still running the factory shocks / struts? If so, how is the ride with the H&R springs?
