I just bought two pair of Infinity Kappa 682.11cf to put in my 2013 Edge SEL with the premium audio system (basic). So I read that I will need to process the signal coming from my speaker trought a DSP or LOC and pass it trought an amp and finally to my new speakers to really enjoy them. In addition maybe add later a powerred sub but for now just to have a good sounds from my speakers will be nice.
So here's my options:
Audiocontrol LC6i
Audiocontrol LC7i
JL Fix 86
Mosconi Gladen 4to6 DSP
Helix DSP
Kicker Fron Row
So of course, when I was looking for feedback online all the comments that a read was very positives on these and after a while more poeple was complaining. For exemple: The JL Fix 86 and Mosconi Gladen 4to6 DSP will be the volume control of the radio because you needs to keep the factory HU volume to 4/3. For the Audiocontrol LC7i, the accubass was too punchy if you listen to rock/metal music, wich I listen all the time. The Audiocontrol LC6i should be fine but it will not correct the bass drop when volume is high.
So with you experience or knowledge what kind of setup should I get and I don't want to break my bank to enjoy my new Kappa speakers at theirs potentiel.
Thanks!
