  1. Here my othe post about my second option: http://www.fordedgeforum.com/topic/22443-idatalink-maestro-aftermarket-touchscreen/?p=172238
  2. Good to know! I was planning to put lc6i ou lc7i powered with hight level output speaker then add a 5 channel (for sub) amp. In this setup the speaker will only have mid and treble. Or trying to figure how to do a good install of a double din like Apline, Kenwood or Pioneer nav system by using a IDataLink Meastro RR to keep car wheel and sync features. This way I can connect a amp directly to the new headunit an have a better signal. The only thing I cannot found is the good dash-kit for the integration. I was checking on buy a OEM from ebay dash-kit for an Edge with 8 Inch display but not sure if it will works flawlessly.
  3. I'm trying to found a solution for my 2013 Edge SEL with Sync. I'm considering these parts : iDataLink Meastro RR-F02-DS Nav System that works with the Meastro like Apline, Pioneer or Kenwood 8" OEM Control Panel for upgrade from 4.2" from ebay I'm just not sure if everything will plug and play like a charm. Does anyone already did this kind of setup? Thanks!
  4. Thanks! I will look at it and maybe call local dealers!
  5. Any recommendation for a good 5-channel amp to power the Kappa speakers and eventually adding a subwoofer?
  6. Does a speaker wiring adapter like the recurve of this video exists for an Edge? I don't wont to cut or tap existing wiring to redirect the signal to a DSP. https://youtu.be/Q4BeH6A6IYA?t=11m43s Thanks
  7. I just bought two pair of Infinity Kappa 682.11cf to put in my 2013 Edge SEL with the premium audio system (basic). So I read that I will need to process the signal coming from my speaker trought a DSP or LOC and pass it trought an amp and finally to my new speakers to really enjoy them. In addition maybe add later a powerred sub but for now just to have a good sounds from my speakers will be nice. So here's my options: Audiocontrol LC6i Audiocontrol LC7i JL Fix 86 Mosconi Gladen 4to6 DSP Helix DSP Kicker Fron Row So of course, when I was looking for feedback online all the comments that a read was very positives on these and after a while more poeple was complaining. For exemple: The JL Fix 86 and Mosconi Gladen 4to6 DSP will be the volume control of the radio because you needs to keep the factory HU volume to 4/3. For the Audiocontrol LC7i, the accubass was too punchy if you listen to rock/metal music, wich I listen all the time. The Audiocontrol LC6i should be fine but it will not correct the bass drop when volume is high. So with you experience or knowledge what kind of setup should I get and I don't want to break my bank to enjoy my new Kappa speakers at theirs potentiel. Thanks!
