Thanks for your reply and the info. I'm pretty sure the fluids were never changed, which led to the original failure. It's going back to the transmission shop next week and I'll find out about the PCM codes. Wish I knew then what I know now...

Hello from Bucks County, PA. I found the forum while researching a recently failed transmission on our 2008 Ford Edge SEL AWD with 65,000 miles. The EXPENSIVE replacement of the transmission and PTU is not going well (gear slamming & fluid leaks) and I'm attempting to gather as much information as I can before I return it to the transmission shop. I've seen some threads that might be helpful, but any suggestions would certainly be appreciated. Cheers...
