  1. Thank you for getting back to me. So it appears that one of my fan modules was out, replaced and it appears we are good to go. Frankly, I am not used to the check engine light indicating a cooling problem, but the engine flashing the "F" signal indicating the engine coolant is hot. However, it seems that the system operates a little differently then I am used to with an overheating engine. Basically, read the manual and was shocked by how different it is, chock this up to user fault. Thanks.
  2. Greetings, kinda new to the forum so if I am in the wrong place, I apologize. My wife drives a 2011 3.5L Edge SE, basic everything with around 80k miles. The temperature gauge for her engine confuses me as she recently got a "red" reading on the gauge. The thing is, it did not go to the "H" but stayed where it usually does, around the middle. Personally, I hate this display and wish it was an old fashioned "gauge", however, it is what it is. Secondly, it never showed an engine overheat as my wife just happens to always have it on the MPG screen, so does it alert her at some point? The only reason she noticed was the A/C compressor shut off and she knew something was up. If anyone can dumb this down for me please let me know as this makes so sense to me at all. Attached picture is a "yellow" reading I now, but it is the best I got, thanks.
