Just wondering what everybody thinks about touchless car washing? I have a great place near my house that offers unlimited touchless car washes for $150.00 for 90 days. Before I pull the trigger I was wondering if there is any risks with washing my car 3 or 4 times a week? It's slushy and snowy here in Toronto and a good clean Black 08 edge in the winter months is almost impossible. What does everybody think? Getting that road salt is must? Thanks, YYZEDGE

I have an appointment with a Ford engineer on Friday at the dealers, I ll keep you guys updated. This slushing noise happens on every stop or back up movements, even on slow turns, but is especially loud when the tank is full.

Hi Jaak in To, I've been looking for some bumper protection for my Edge and live in TO actually Milton, how much are you asking for it? Also how long have you owned it for? And if you have attached it already how easy would it be to reaply it again? Glenn

Hi Folks, I just purchased an 08 FWD Edge Limited Vapour Silver last week and as soon as I drove it off the lot I noticed a loud slushing noise coming from the gas tank everytime I stopped the car. At first I thought it was a half bottle of windshield washer fluid. The next day I immediately went back to the dealer and took the service manager for a ride and he totally heard the slushing noise and he also spotted one of my 20 inch chrome rims peeling, which is now on order. We test drove two other cars on the lot and they both had the same slushing noise, it seems to be louder when the tank is full. Also that annoying humming noise is going to drive me crazy, I know there are some threads on this but has anybody solved this problem??? Anyway back to the slushing, the dealer has afford me a brand new Edge if I want but they all have the slushing noise so the dealer is sending in two Oakville engineers to look at my car this week. Three problems in less than 24 hours of owning my Edge. Anyone else out there have this slushing problem????? By the way I still love this car but really want these issues to be resolved, the rims are an easy fix but the gas noise and that humming is going to be a hard one to deal with. Thanks, yyzedge
