  1. both park lights and headlights, fog lights, brake lights, reverse lights and all signal working. no park(tail lights) and license plate light in the back. replace all bulbs, replace the fuse for park light, tried a new relay. still nothing. removed all panel in the back and inspected all wires. can't see any obvious problem. no corrosion on the ground that i've seen so far. look at a wiring diagram and for what i seen its on the same circuit going to the fuse in the car. got power to that fuse. what am i missing? really need help on this on. thanks
  2. to read those code, you probably need to go to the dealer, cause my odb2 is not reading anything.
  3. notice there some topic for that but nothing works so far, started with those coming on and then the abs and traction would go off and on. after restarting the car, all light would be gone and after come back. but now its always there. transmission got power and shifting ok, no difference notice. did check all my abs sensor with a multi meter(3 were around 1.41 to 1.47 and the other one was at 2.1), don't know if it could be a problem. also check all my tone ring, no damage found. like i said the car run fine. what would be my next options. thanks for any help.
  4. for the oil cooler, the other engine has a 3 bolt attachment instead of a 1 bolt like my edge. also, my engine is in the car, when i came to installed the alternator, it look crooked when i look at the engine, tried many thing to make it straight but no luck, the belt look a little bit off too, that alternator only goes in one way, no play for adjustment. any idea what going on. thank guys, appreciate the help.
  5. ok, decided to change my engine because my phaser where damage and the engine got 334000 km on it. the problem is that i notice that the engine they sold me is from a ford taurus 2010, look the same but no oil cooler on engine and wiring is different. they told me it the same thing. so if i remove my original wiring and put it on the engine without the oil cooler and just bypass the 2 oil cooler hose. would that work. right now both engine are on the floor. hope it would work. thanks for any help
  6. ok, so i did change both my vct selenoid, reinstalled everything, change the oil and started the engine. engine running very rough at idle and got this code( P0018 camshaft position/camshaft correlation bank 2 sensor A)(same message but with P0018(pd) and P0021-P0021(pd) camshaft position timing over advance or system performance (bank2). did put a brand new camshaft sensor in front, r/h side.when for a drive, look like i got power and its running fine but when i came back in the garage, running rough at idle. also can hear some noise in engine that was not there before i change the vct solenoid. also check my solenoid by adding 12 volts power on it, they do works. also disconnected the battery the reset computer. no luck. am i missing something? thanks
  7. its been 2 years for the oil and did change the camshaft timing sensor. i use 5w20, same weight but HM instead of regular. did it because people told me my engine would last longer because of is kilometers.
  8. ford edge 2008, got this code 3 weeks ago, P0018. engine was still running fine, no signs of anything wrong with the engine at idle or even with the power. still put a brand new sensor. 3 weeks after, code P0022 and P0018 came on. been reading and so far i need help from expert. i'm running my engine on high millage castrol, some told me to go back to 5w20. got 330000 km on my engine, was running great before those event and still does when it doesn't acting up. is it hard to check the cam phaser on that engine and also, how can i removed my vct selenoid for inspection without damaging anything? any suggestions. thanks for any help
